about

THE HORN SHALL NOT GO UPSIDE DOWN

THE HORN SHALL NOT EAT FAECES

--------------------------------------------------------------

Composed and recorded in early 2006, Volume Three is a Horn classic, rich with epic desert riffs, mummified vocals, and Nile delta ambience.

Like most of The Horn's early releases, this album has always been very hard to find - until now. The album has been re-released in 2020 with no editing, no remastering - it is re-released, for good or for bad, in all its original decaying, fumbling, low-fidelity, badly-mixed, soil-stained glory.

The artwork presented here is entirely new for the 2020 re-release, although it based around the same original ancient Egyptian coffin text illustration that the 2006 artwork referenced.

Mostly black metal, sometimes dark ambient, sometimes psychedelic rock, sometimes faux folk, sometimes dungeon synth, sometimes pure noise wall, sometimes deranged audiobook, sometimes none of the above. ... more
