When A Demon Sheen and Nekrasov met in the mid-2000s, they knew they'd work together one day - too similar were their interests in musical darkness, esoteric energies, and alienating their audience. Big fans of each other's work, they finally set long-dreamed forces in motion, and began collaborating in early 2013, on bringing to life the very first of the Ancient Egyptian Funeral Texts. And now, in 2015, on the first day of spring, the cosmic Energies of Being have conspired in such a way as to bring about the blossoming of this release... VOLUME 13.

With one epic track by both The Horn and Nekrasov, one immersive piece by Nekrasov solo, and one spell by The Horn alone, VOLUME 13 is a remarkable work by two of the dark underground's most unrelentingly idiosyncratic characters.

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf
